Gulf Fluor Complex has many unique features that make it a milestone on the map of the Fluorine chemical industry, as it is the only one in the Middle East region, and one of the largest Aluminum Fluoride Plants in the world, as well as being the largest plant stationed in single unit.
It consists of a Sulfuric acid plant, Hydrogen fluoride plant and Aluminum fluoride plant, as well as an industrial water treatment station and necessary utilities.
In addition to the above, Gulf Fluor owns its sea access that enables it to benefit a range of appropriate services that enhance its competitiveness in the region. As well as the distinctive geographical location which allowing it to provide its services to most Aluminum smelters around the world.

Gulf Fluor covers its requirements of raw materials needed to produce Aluminum fluoride, either by manufacturing it within Gulf Fluor complex, as is the case for Hydrogen fluoride and Sulfuric acid, and obtaining the rest of materials from a distinguished suppliers locally or internationally, as the case of Molten sulfur, Fluorspars and Aluminum tri-hydrates.

​75% of Sulphuric Acid and Hydrogen Fluoride is used to meet Gulf Fluor’s own needs, and the rest is spared for export.
